Admission
Admission to the festival is free, the only fee charged is the Parking Fee of $10.00 per car- all areas.
Each food vendor has items for purchase offering a variety of food choices and primarily seafood.
Food Pavilion
Food Pavilion is the heart of the food portion of the festival featuring seafood from scallops, crab cakes, and many more Chesapeake Bay favorites. Food Vendors feature seafood, desserts, and all the festival fare surely to please any palate. Table and Chair seating available for you to sit and eat. Don’t miss the entertainment on the Food Pavilion Stage during the event and throughout the weekend.
Food Purchases
Food at the festival is pay as you go. There is no ticket required and there are a variety of food vendors who sell many items to suit varied tastes, to include those who love seafood and those who may not. There is something for everyone and your everyday festival fare and desserts to compliment the offerings.
The Poquoson Seafood Festival which began as a small celebration of the Poquoson waterfront community in its first inception featured an art show at a local marina. Today, the Festival is a large annual event at Poquoson Municipal Park in the City of Poquoson. The festival draws nearly 50,000 people over the three day event and features both local and regional entertainment and a variety of food vendors featuring tasty delights highlighting seafood. Arts and Crafts vendors that are part of a juried arts and craft show also entice local shoppers.
The Festival is enjoyed by both residents and visitors from a wide geographic area. Entry to the Festival Area is free, this includes all food areas, entertainment shows, arts and crafts areas and more.
